Medical Management

Medical Management
The Medical Management Department nurtures the kinds of practical managers that the industry requires by training students to understand the latest and key trends in the domestic and international medical industry and to cope with the ever-changing medical service industry. At the same time, we guide these managers to serve as communicators who mediate and reconcile differences among stakeholders in the medical industry. We use our expertise in traditional management and the medical service industry to provide classes tailored to specific sectors such as medical institution management, medical policy analysis and writing, the pharmaceutical industry, and the elderly market, thereby producing professional medical managers. We also focus on competence building to create new market opportunities by identifying features of the medical industry as a convergence services industry and effectively combining expertise in individual sectors. In step with the trend of international medical care (global health care) and efforts to attract overseas patients, we refine global management capabilities by raising awareness and improving the response system for a multicultural environment. Understanding the medical environment is essential for overcoming the ever-intensifying competition and non-stop change. The medical policy class explains the medical system composed of medical finance supply, the properties of hospitals as medical providers, and the effect of government medical policies. The knowledge this class presents is useful to set the direction of hospitals by promoting an in-depth understanding of the medical environment. Based on this, we aim to produce professionals who can reflect what the medical establishments and industry demand in the decision-making process of health care policies.
